Ffxiv no sound
Dec 14, 2020 · Audio no longer plays at all. As of 12/12/2020, after an update on my Windows computer, my audio on FFXIV no longer plays. It is just FFXIV with this issue. I am on PC and I have tried numerous ways to get the audio back, from: -Changing my Borderless Windowed game to Windowed>Closing the game>Opening game>Going to Fullscreen mode. Windows > Sound > App Volume and device preferences > Find FFXIV and change the Output (top entry) from whatever it is set to to anything else, then back to what the correct device is.Someone suggested a while back to use Razer Surround. FFXIV will use that as a (virtual) sound device, and it can dynamically route the audio. I have looked for this and it appears that FFXIV just uses the Windows default at the time of launch.
