GazimoEnthra. • 5 yr. ago. doing the other comats first was enough prep imo. i didn't do anything to prepare for the EM comat and it was totally fine. it mostly pulled from material i'd studied heavily to prepare for all the prior comats. 4.I used COMQUEST and OG Dorian (literally only those two resources, was bad about reviews (duplicates drove me insane) in second semester, and still passed COMATs (90-100s). So do CheesyDorian with UWorld and you’ll do even better. But do OME first -> CheesyDorian -> Uworld. but switch it up cuz the OME cards for surgery aren’t that good ...Ambulatory Uworld section for FM COMAT. For IM I scored higher than my prediction. I will suggest that you just switch to UWorld though. It is a better qbank and I did much better on the COMATs that I used UWorld on. I don't know about your school but for my school between 100-109 was a high pass and 110+ was honored. All I ever did for comats was OME (I read the notes) and combank. I think once I did comquest and I got above 100 on all of them and honored FM and EM. 1. Pathoma is a must-have and it's cheap ($89) (for any new students--OP probably knows this by now). I used COMQUEST and it seemed to be pretty representative of what was on the test. There were a few questions that were nearly exact. Most of the COMAT questions were "next best diagnostic test" or "next best step in management".
